In the textile sector (spinning, weaving, finishing), there is a wide use of steam boilers and diathermic oil. For example, in vaporizing the dyes must be fixed with the fiber. This occurs mainly with a steam treatment, with which the fabric is heated rapidly to accelerate the diffusion of the dye in the fiber.

In the case of the rameuse, instead, the diathermic oil boilers are particularly suitable, thanks to the high temperature the fabrics are dried and thermofixed.
